Jerrod Patty

Protection Specialist

Mr. Patty brings over 17 years of operational and instructional experience to AGS. Jerrod began his service to his country in 1994 by becoming a member of the United States Air Force. While with the US Air Force Jerrod served as a member of the Security Forces Community. As a soldier in the Air Force he worked in numerous high threat environments, to include multiple locations throughout the Middle East. Selected to perform close protection duties and armed escorts for high ranking military officials, VIP’s, and foreign dignitaries, Jerrod has also conducted surveillance/counter surveillance missions with O.S.I.

After serving his country he joined the ranks of a Midwest State Police Agency in 1999. Jerrod was selected and spent eight years on the Tactical Intervention Platoon where he received training in managing civil actions in threat incidents through the Dept. of Homeland Security. In 2004 Jerrod was selected for the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Team (EOD). Jerrod has trained at the Hazardous Devices School (Redstone Arsenal) and became a Bomb Technician.

In 2008 Jerrod was selected to become a member of an elite close protection team for the Governor of a Midwestern State. For over four years Jerrod traveled extensively throughout the United States acting as a protection specialist. Jerrod was responsible for close in protection, advance operations, conducting walking formations, along with arrivals and departures for various events and venues. He is trained in all aspects of executive and dignitary protection to include: personal protection, advance operations, vehicle mount and dismount techniques and procedures, walking formations, surveillance detection and counter surveillance, site survey, physical security and threat assessments, and flying while armed. Some of his close protection duties include: U.S. Secretary of State, U.S. Secretary of Transportation, and numerous Governors, political figures, and professional athletes .
