Law Enforcement Protective Operations Course

From a training need perspective, AGS recognizes that more and more Law Enforcement and LE specialty units are being tasked with close protection responsibilities. Despite "Executive Protection" being listed in the SOPs of SWAT teams nationwide, they often lack the necessary close protection training. Our goal is to address this training gap with a program designed to teach the essential skills and procedures for effective close protection.

With the rise in civil unrest, Law Enforcement is increasingly required to provide various levels of protection for city officials, Law Enforcement executives, visiting foreign government officials, celebrities, and other high-risk groups. Additionally, Universities and Colleges are gaining national attention in athletics, leading to increased requests for close protection for coaches, University Presidents, and others. Our program offers a comprehensive training curriculum that equips Law Enforcement agencies to supplement visiting protection details and organize close protection details as needed by their agency’s executives.

Course Goal: To provide Law Enforcement with the basic and fundamental close protection skills to successfully perform their duty as a primary protection team or to supplement a visiting team.
